A Tesla battery health score is a simplified way to understand how the battery is doing compared with an expected healthy condition. It should not be treated as a single magic number, because battery behavior changes with temperature, charging history, driving style, calibration, and normal lithium-ion aging.
The useful part is the trend. If health, usable capacity, range, and degradation signals are stable, the battery story is usually different from a one-day estimate that jumps around after a drive or a weather change.
